The IMA Group is seeking to hire an administrative and clerical professional to fill the Medical Records Specialist role at their EVOnational location in Ijamsville, Maryland.

The purpose of this role is to assure that all parties are aware of their upcoming appointments and the same are completed successfully. Support to overall operations and communication both internal and external to ensure all parties have what is needed for upcoming scheduled appointments.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to ?

  • Printing medical records from clients? system portals (i.e. CCMSI, DC Public Sector and etc).
  • Print medical records from emails and referrals.
  • Uploading medical records from DocGiant to EVO Dashboard (files under 50 MB)
  • Scanning and uploading medical records to EVO Dashboard (files over 50 MB)
  • Preparing medical records files for Meds QA review.
  • Requesting diagnostics imaging and following up to ensure receipt.
  • Filing of diagnostics discs returned from doctor?s office.
  • Preparing files to be sent via UPS to providers
  • Monitoring of Medical Records Received queue to ensure it is uploaded to DocGiant in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring of Medical Records Sent to Physician queue to ensure we have everything needed to be sent prior to the appointment to the physician.
  • Monitoring of Awaiting Medical Records queue and follow up accordingly to obtain medical records from marketing reps and/or clients.
  • Reviewing the medical records and cover letter prior to sending to the doctor?s office to ensure special instructions for specific clients are followed according.
  • Enter referrals as needed.
  • Answer the phone as needed.
  • Monitoring general mailbox for medical records and cover letter
  • Provide exceptional customer service and streamlined communication to clients, physicians, attorneys, nurses, and injured workers regarding all matters relating to the IME process.

Education

  • Minimum High School or GED equivalent, required.
