Our healthcare client is seeking a friendly, professional Medical Receptionist who can be relied on to handle a wide range of responsibilities within the clinic. The successful candidate must have impeccable verbal communication skills, a strong medical background and a deep understanding of insurance coverage. We are searching for an innovative and motivated Medical Receptionist who is capable of performing multiple tasks effectively and efficiently, including intake of patients and scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct patients who come to the medical clinic.
- Answer phones and schedule appointments.
- Schedule patients for tests and procedures, such as blood and x-ray testing., order lab tests, and file patient charts.
- Organize files of medical records.
- Maintain log of phone messages.
- Verify insurance details and verify payment information.
- Update medical records with new information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
