KOH Physical Therapy Lab is an outpatients physical therapy clinic.

Seeking an enthusiastic individual who is proactive with a "Can-Do, Team Player" attitude that can also work independently with the ability to multi task.

Mentorship and training is provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients, in person or on the telephone/email/text; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of computer scheduling functions, using proper registration protocols with all new clients, editing existing client data, and utilizing proper visit types. Maintain knowledge of all providers’ schedules and restrictions. Inputs registration demographic and insurance information into computer.
  • Answering the phones, emails, text, faxes, and client scheduling.
  • Collecting copays, provider tasks, coordinating with insurance and calling on benefits, insurance claims, and reconciling, auditing patient's ledger.
  • Updating authorizations and prescriptions.
  • Coordinating vendors for in-services as needed
  • Coordinate staff/team bonding events, as needed
  • Maintains safe and clean reception, and treatment areas, by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Checks patient out at the end of visit as per office procedures. Arrives, cancels and no shows appointments.
  • Communicate with internal team regarding patients needs in a timely manner
  • Informs clinical personnel when patient has arrived; routes patient to appropriate clinical area.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Proactive with a "Can-Do, Team Player" attitude that can also work independently with the ability to multi task and handle obstacles with outstanding customer service skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility by adapting to new and changing situations and duties in order to meet patient needs effectively
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and handle multiple tasks, work with interruptions, and deal effectively with confidential information.
  • Must have excellent public relations and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work under general supervision.
  • Must have a professional and mature demeanor.
  • Exhibit courtesy/respect for co-workers and willing to help co-workers when needed.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with sound judgment and problem solving ability
  • Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA standards
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and anticipate needs
  • Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
