RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To demonstrate support of the Company values by providing triage medical assistant services to our patients and their families.
  • They will assist to obtain prescription refills, complete FMLA/Disability paperwork, retrieve and transcribe voicemail messages from the triage line and contact patients with physician approved results.
  • The Medical Assistant will provide prompt response to telephone inquiries, reports, instant messages and emails from clinic staff members.
  • The position will be responsible for assistance with all aspects of non-symptom related triage.
  • The candidate is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School Diploma -
  • Previous Experience: One (1) Year of experience in the healthcare field or clinic setting with oncology experience preferred. -
  • Core Capabilities: - Medical Office experience to include assisting nurses and physicians in completing and processing patient care issues. -
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize activities, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as a team. -
  • Familiar with electronic medical record documentation and data entry. -
  • Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. -
  • Certifications/Licenses: - Valid Driver’s License, in state of residency -
  • Medical Assistant Certification -
  • Travel: Rare -
  • Standard Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm
