Job Opening Summary
The medical assistant works under the direction of the physician and in cooperation with the other office staff in assisting with safe and effective patient care in compliance with established standards and protocols of the practice and UF Health Central Florida goals and objectives.
Job Opening Qualifications
Education- Associate's degree preferred
- Post-high school special training
- High school diploma/GED
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Medical assistant certification
- BLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
- Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
- Prefer experience working with practice management systems.
- Must have 1 year of experience working in a physician office.
- Prefer experience with medical terminology.
