Schedule & Working Hours:

This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week during the following hours:

  • Monday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: OFF
  • Thursday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Job description:

OnSite Care is looking for an outgoing, professional Medical Assistant/Medical Interpreter to join our team in South Jordan, UT. The ideal candidate is someone who has 1-3 years of experience in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy, is passionate about healthcare, and has excellent patient service skills, and is a Certified Medical Spanish Interpreter.

Basic job duties include preparing patient rooms for visits, gathering vitals, medical history, completing point-of-care testing, assisting with any procedures/exams, performing blood draws, and other duties as assigned.

Interpreter duties include providing complete and accurate interpretation for patients, families, and clinic staff in order to facilitate communication, assisting patients, families, and staff with translation of forms as required, while demonstrating familiarity with most commonly used medical terminology.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.
  • Must be actively or willing to become BLS certified.
  • 1-3 years as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year blood draw experience preferred.
  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Must currently be certified through The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI) or the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI).
