Job Summary: Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of the clinic. May be assigned to specific medical specialty to help with patient care related to that specialty.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma required, some college preferred. Minimum of one year of work experience in public contact job, preferably in a service related field. Experience of interest in health care. Maintains current AHA BLS certification. Obtains appropriate certificate with passing grade for specialty.
