Mechanic Technician Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm straight shift + overtime as needed
Base Hourly Wage: $25.00-$33.00/hour with profit sharing opportunities

Ecore International is looking for a Mechanic Technician, Manufacturing for brand new manufacturing and recycling facility! You will help with plant start-up and empowering our Machine Operators to successfully get products to our customers by ensuring all of their machines and equipment work well and bringing ideas on how to make them run even better. Internally, we call these role Electro-Mechanics.

What you'll be doing:
  • Work on the start-up of our new facility, including equipment installation and optimization.
  • In our manufacturing plants, you'll be working on all of the machines that produce our products and all of the supporting pieces of equipment that our employees use in their jobs.
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected downtime. You'll be working with things such as NC and CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and determine the best adjustment or repair.
  • Work with the Machine Operators to better understand issues and apply their deep knowledge of the machines to a solution.
  • Maintain and repair physical structure to our buildings and grounds, including snow removal, basic plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanics, or related field
OR an apprenticeship in Electromechanical Maintenance
OR a high school diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience with electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine shop tools
  • 2+ years of experience with controls wiring (120/240/480 volts), AC and DC motor drive controls, multi-meter, amp-meter, oscilloscope, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a box truck or flat bed with manual or automatic transmission
