Mechanic Technician I Job at CROM, LLC

Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Performs all maintenance on equipment assigned by the supervisor.
- Performs diesel engines trouble shooting and repairs.
- Performs regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions.
- Perform modifications and repairs to field and shop equipment.
- Performs hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
- Advises supervisor of parts purchases.
- Assists in maintaining parts inventory.
- Assists superintendents with field equipment problems.
- Travels to job locations to complete scheduled or unscheduled equipment maintenance.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
- Assists in the final inspection for all equipment before loading for transportation to a jobsite.
- Observes all safety procedures.
- Report to work as scheduled by the employer and without excessive absenteeism.
- Perform other duties as assigned including mechanics and machine and be subject to temporary assignment with other supervisors of for fieldwork.
Minimum Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance
Other requirements
Valid Florida Driver's License.
Fork Lift Certified.
Must have tools for the job.
Working Conditions
Exposure to elements of mechanic's shop setting.
Requires travel, including overnight, outside of employee's home territory.
Exposure to hazardous materials.
Exposure to frequent loud noises.
Exposure to dangerous machinery.
Generally works five 8-hour days, although overtime may occur.
