Basic Function
To perform all material handling responsibilities in a safe and timely manner and to keep areas organized and clean. Material handlers are also expected to assist with production by operation of machines and various tasks on production lines and areas.
Roles & Responsibilities

1. Restocking of materials in support of manufacturing including but not limited to SMC, TMC, and BMC including inserts, packaging, pallets and MRO items as requested
2. Assure appropriate use of inventory controls on applicable raw materials
3. Assist shipping department as required to move product to storage, stretch wrapping and handling and loading and unloading trucks
4. Support manufacturing by changing out poly on cutting tables, assisting with the making up of packaging.
5. Support Production needs and retrieve and assist in set up of other items to support production such as fans, tables, etc.
6. Perform Production Operator tasks as assigned
7. Complete daily fork lift check
8. Emptying dust collectors, oil buckets, and changing out oil absorbents
9. Accurately report production, issuing and un-issuing raw materials in SAP or via notification to Supervisor

- Computer skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Demonstrated attention to deal with high output
- Good math skills
- DOT & RCRA training & qualification
- Lift truck permit required
- Good communication skills
Min. Qualifications
Education
High School/GED required
Work Experience
Minimum of 1 year of material handling experience and/or 3 years of operator experience
Pump and Machine Operator qualified on at least one line (SMC01, SMC02, or TMC)
Languages
English, additional language preferred
