Position

The Marketing Product Specialist (MPS) is based in our Corporate Office

Description

In this high-profile role, the Marketing Product Specialist (MPS), reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, will be a proactive member of a dynamic sales and marketing team introducing a new and advanced technology and standard of care in critical care neurological patient management. The ideal candidate will be a high-impact, self-motivated individual desiring to establish a career in the medical device industry. In this entry-level position, the PS will primarily be responsible for downstream product management and marketing communication responsibilities for the critical care product line.

Primary Responsibilities

      • Manage and support all downstream product management activities
      • Provide marketing support to global sales organization, to include sales and product training and customer support
      • Support marketing communication collateral plan, development and implementation
      • Support clinical specialist staff across sales organization
      • Coordinate project assignments and communication across all Company functional areas
      • Coordination and implementation of digital marketing communication plan
      • Support marketing efforts at major medical meetings

Sales and Marketing Team Member

      • Manages and provides support to Company CRM system used across sales and marketing.
      • Executes ongoing management of account capital and loaner inventory tracking systems.
      • Provides sales and marketing support at territory, regional and national industry meetings promoting the NeurOptics Critical Care products.

What Skills You’ll Need

New College Graduates may apply.

      • Bachelor’s degree in in Neuroscience, Bioengineering, Biological Sciences with some coursework in Business
      • Demonstrated work experience through summer internships in product management, marketing communications, or technical role, preferably in the medical device sector
      • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
      • Results-oriented and positive “can do” attitude, with a sense of urgency to get things done
      • Demonstrated success in previous work experience is necessary
      • Demonstrated previous work experience managing customer-oriented interactions is highly recommended
      • A self-starter who is highly motivated to excel
      • Must be detail-oriented and flexible
      • Ability to work well within a team environment and work independently
      • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The MPS position is based in our corporate office. The MPS position requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. This position requires standing for extended periods when facilitating customer meetings or walking in hospitals and clinics. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.

Ongoing professional development will continue throughout the career of the NeurOptics representative.
