The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Marketing Director and various departments to enable them to meet company objectives by providing the appropriate tools, materials and support
- Lead all areas of content generation and production across all digital platforms working closely with digital vendors.
- Create and develop online advertising, email marketing, web site management, content development, social media engagement and advertising and company print materials.
- Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
- Ensure brand messages are consistent
- Manage special company projects as needed
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, creative, and media production
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications or related field
- Must be a confident communicator and presenter
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
- Superior project management and time management skills
- Comfortable working with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
- Self-motivated and possess a team player mentality
- Reliable transportation to the Greenbrier Area of Chesapeake. (This is not a remote position)
