Marketer needed for Community Care Hospice.

Community Care Hospice is being formed to serve the Hutchinson, Newton and McPherson area through a partnership between several non-profit retirement communities and Midland Care Connection.

Our Marketer will represent Community Care Hospice professionally in community outreach activities and help community healthcare providers access care for their clients. The incumbent is responsible for successful relationship building with current and potential healthcare provider partners. The incumbent is part of a sales team, responsible for marketing Community Care Hospice services, getting referrals for the programs, and communicating the mission.

Responsibilities

  • Articulates clearly and consistently referral sources, contracting providers and consumers the mission, the philosophy and key elements of Community Care Hospice.
  • Coordinates the planning and promotion of successful public relations activities, events and health fairs, attending on behalf of Community Care Hospice.
  • Collaborates with the Education Department to promote community education offerings.
  • Partners with supervisor to develop strategic marketing activities.
  • Responds in a timely manner to requests for information. Stocks brochures in the community. Delivers clinical notes.
  • Effectively communicates all aspects of Community Care Hospice programs to the community and assists with admission paperwork.
  • Monitors progress in meeting goals and adjusts as needed to reach goals. Develops advanced goals when initial goals are met.

Part time hours.

Pay Rate: $24+/hour (pay is based off requirements and like experience)

Qualifications

Required: Strong interpersonal/human relations skills. At least 3 years of healthcare marketing and sales experience, including “cold-calling”, and being comfortable asking for a referral. Excellent verbal (presentations/speaking in front of groups) and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Prior community outreach experience. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, enforce automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university program.
