Job Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads full cycle strategic recruiting across Sports Endeavors LLC. which enables the organization to meet its customer experience, quality, and operational goals for our ecommerce businesses. The Talent Acquisition Manager leads a team that develops sourcing strategies and recruiting plans, presents pre-qualified top candidates to hiring managers, develops/negotiates offers with candidates and creates the onboarding experience for all new hires. This position is responsible for legal and regulatory compliance of recruiting policies and practices. The leadership role does not end however with the on-boarding of team members; rather, you ensure that ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met, exceeded, and measured.

This position works on-site at our Mebane, NC location.

Major Accountabilities/ Essential Duties

  • Responsible for all talent acquisition related activities and management of talent acquisition team.
  • Develop action plans to respond to staffing issues, assure recruitment and selection of candidates meet technical, professional, and interpersonal requirements. Analyze workforce planning and recruiting best practices for all divisions within the company. Build strong vendor relationships, ensure programs are compliant and meet the company expectations.
  • Manage the sourcing and advertising budget and other talent acquisition initiatives across all divisions within the company. Build strong working relationships with leadership and operations management, vendor relations and ensure communication and program designs meet the company expectations.
  • Manage all recruiting processes including; the applicant tracking system, pre and post-employment screenings and efficient processing and onboarding of new talent.
  • Provide reporting; maintain other records, reports and logs.
  • Identify and improve legal requirements related to all aspects of employment and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliant.
  • Responsible for the process to onboard new hires successfully.
  • Participates in staff meetings; prepares agendas and notes and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Support company rewards and recognition programs and initiatives such as recognition events; luncheons, etc.
  • Identify training needs for employees and individual managers in the location. Participate in creating, facilitating, evaluation and monitoring the successful training programs.
  • Support the administration of job evaluations, job descriptions, and compensation alignment for new and existing positions across the region.
  • Establish strong working relationships with business partners to ensure HR support is aligned with business priorities.
  • Responsible for partnering with leadership to develop a culture of positive employee relations and engagement.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role required. Strong track record of leading recruiters, fulfillment/warehouse industry exposure and experience in seasonal workforce is strongly preferred.
  • HRCI, SHRM or similar certification is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in the design and implementation of successful talent sourcing strategies
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to pull and manage complex data for insights into processes
  • Experience with application tracking systems such as Paycor
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate strategies and implement policies
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of management and employees
  • Successfully demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under deadline pressure
  • Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Must have the ability to handle confidential matters using sound judgement and discretion
  • An ability to adapt and be able to deal with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Strong team builder who has the demonstrated ability to attract recruit, develop and retain talent. A leader who creates loyalty, trust and following, and can instill a culture of accountability and focus on performance.
  • Proven hands-on project management and change management experience and someone who can see the big picture, but comfortable in executing on tactical issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills, along with attention to detail.
