In this role, you will manage the daily operations and staff functions in the operations room. Develop objectives and maintain policies and procedures which support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Maintain the professional practice standards, customer relations, compliance with accreditation/licensure requirements, staffing, and practice. Work collaboratively with other system operating rooms and ambulatory surgery centers. Work collaboratively with medical staff, senior leadership, other departments, staff and serve as a clinical leader. Be responsible for budget management including costs related to staffing, equipment, and supply purchases as well as revenue related to performed procedures. Manage staff education, information dispersion and act as a resource for medical, nursing, and support staff.

This is a Full Time Salary position in Carmel Valley with variable hours.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Associate degree
• Plus, five years applicable clinical experience (Operating room) , two of which in a leadership role.
• Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
• Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
• Graduate of an accredited program
  
  Required Certification/Registration:
• Maintains current California RN license.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification or American Red Cross BLS/AED for the Professional Rescuer and all competencies/certifications required of the charge RN on the unit.
  
  Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree or MSN preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred if applicable.
• Prefer Operating room manager experience.
• Prefer experience in Ambulatory Surgery
