Manager / Assistant Manager Job at Sushi Bar
We are looking for a manager and assistant manager for a small and upscale Sushi restaurant in Old Greenwich CT. This role will also be expected to assist in serving when needed on busy nights. A professional personal demeanor and appearance is important.
You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.
Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Currently needed for Tuesday-Sunday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and train servers, dishwashers, busboys
- Prepare and communicate to staff a weekly labor schedule
- Maintain a clean and safe restaurant
- Manage the reservation book and confirm reservations
- Answer and return phone calls and emails
- Take photos and create content for Instagram and website
- Maintain the inventory of non-food supplies and manage re-orders
- Greet and seat diners
- Assist service staff with waiting on guests
- Manage takeout and delivery orders
- Manage all third party vendors
