The Manager, Aftermarket Operations ensures metrics and deliverables are completed for output to the Customers, Leaders and Business Unit using multiple media types, such as PowerPoint and Excel. The Manager is responsible for keeping real time status data including performance recovery plans, expedite requests and future on time delivery metrics projection.

They have significant development opportunities and flexibility in a hybrid work structure.

The Manager, Aftermarket Operations is Hybrid to Windsor Locks, CT.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Influence and drive on-time internal customer service to 95% to external customers

  • Investigate existing gaps and identify and adopt best practices, across the enterprise

  • Brief key stakeholders on current Overdue Sales (OD) status, On Time Delivery (OTD) projections and Expedited Material requests

  • Develop and improve performance to various Key Process Indicators

  • Improve integral system processes from order entry to the final delivery of product to the customer.

  • Ensure assigned business units have comprehensive plans to drive burn down of overdue line/upcoming due customer orders.

  • Organize and drive closure to specific customer late delivery issues across respective business units.

  • Mitigate shortages for our internal customers and repair sites

  • Minimal Travel is required

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience within SAP Materials Management Functions

  • Experience developing and improving performance to various Key Process Indicators

  • Customer facing experience supporting internal and external Aftermarket
