Job Description:

Responsibilities Include:
- Read / understand operating manuals for plant machinery (steam gen, air comp, wire rollers)
- Interpret parts manuals for purchasing
- Identify / troubleshoot electrical problems in equipment and building
- Identify / troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems
- Utilize diagnostic equipment (meters), and hand tools
- Be proficient with fabrication tools (welding, oxy/acetyl torch)
- Repair plant equipment (steel forms, machinery, and building)
- Help develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
- Meet safety and housekeeping policy and procedures

Required Experience:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum 5 years experience in plant industrial maintenance environment (mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, fabrication, pneumatic)
- Strong electrical trouble shooting skills in high voltage as well as low voltage
- Ability to work on PLC is required
- Metal fabrication experience preferred
- Must work well independently with little direction
- Communicate with co-workers and supervisors in meeting production goals
- Quick thinker / strategic planner / flexible / problem solver
- Intermediate math skills
- Time management, must understand 'urgency': of manufacturing
