Our Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for carrying out various maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment . They are responsible for machine setups, troubleshooting, repairs machine installation, machine inspection, and carry out preventative maintenance to ensure that industrial machines remain operational.

• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production equipment issues efficiently in a timely manner
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Comply with SupplyOne and OSHA safety rules

• Minimum of 2 years industrial maintenance or machine experience required
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
• Comfortable with computers
• Exposure to high speed manufacturing equipment
• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Advanced technical or college training preferred
• Successful completion of post-offer pre-employment screening and criminal background check
  

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout their shift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that may weigh 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as accurate depth perception and the ability to adjust fo cus.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full time, non-exempt first shift position that is scheduled to work Monday-Friday with required overtime as needed and the possibility of an overlapping work shift between 3rd and 1st shifts.
