Maintenance Technician Job at Storm Search
Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is a non-supervisory position that performs a variety of tasks associated with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. This position will receive assignments from both the Maintenance Manager and the Plant Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Removing, repairing, installing and adjusting all parts on plant machinery.
- Identifying and assessing machine problems
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and procedures on equipment
- Manufacturing simple parts as necessary to repair existing machinery and install new machinery
- Maintenance of heavy industrial production equipment and overhead cranes
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience or a Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance and/or Fluid Power
- Have a safety mindset and ensure that the safety rules are always adhered to
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Experienced in electrical, mechanical troubleshooting and welding
- Flexible and able to work overtime as necessary.
- Are a self-starter and need minimal supervision
- Can operate a large variety of hand and power tools
- Exercise effective time and workload management.
- Adaptable to change.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
