Description
Position Title: Distribution Center Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Distribution Center Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SHIFT: M-F 7am-3:30pm
**SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE!**
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Watering forklift batteries
- Lubricating the basiloids
- Painting and maintaining safety lines throughout the warehouse
- General maintenance and repair in the facility
- Switching out forklift attachments when needed
- Repairing barcode ceiling labels
- Ensuring chains and equipment for docks are functioning properly
- Completing routine functionality checks for dock plates
- Swapping out dock lock lights when required
- Performing preventative maintenance on dock locks and shelters
- Supporting and coordinating maintenance contractors as needed
- Repair facility doors
- Move furniture as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Basic math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills
- At least 2 years of warehouse maintenance experience required
- At least 1 year of forklift experience required
- Preferred forklift certification per OSHA standards
- Ability to follow direction
Work Environment
- Non-climate controlled facility
- Non-climate controlled inside trailers
- May work outside
Physical Demands
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending for extended periods
- Occasionally lifting 50lbs
- Pulling and/or pushing
