Troy Design and Manufacturing is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company. We are currently seeking a skilled Level 2 Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd Shift (2:30 pm-11 pm).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Level 2
- Troubleshooting - advanced electrical circuits, hydraulic circuits, pneumatic circuits
- Ability to build and troubleshoot electrical holding circuit from a schematic
- Mechanical Drive System-Couplings/alignments/gear boxes/belts/clutches/brakes
- Lube System- pumps/distribution blocks/switches/controls
- AC/DC Motors- Troubleshoot and Replacement, Maintenance (Brushes, windings, wiring)
- Understand how to lift and rig machines
- Ability to repair and replace lube system
- Ability to use preventative maintenance tools - IR camera/ultra-sonic, megar meter
- Ability to create and edit workorders in eMaint
- Transformers - Troubleshoot, repair, and replaces transformers with high and low voltage
- Basic Shop Safety- Shop rules
- Basic Hand Tool Knowledge & Operation- Hammers, wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, jacks,
- Basic Machine Equipment Knowledge & Operation
- Basic Equipment Maintenance
