As a Maintenance Technician at New Process Steel, your main responsibility is to continue to improve our safety, quality and efficiency.

How? By performing preventative, routine and emergency mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and providing effective troubleshooting, you are a huge part in ensuring operations are running effectively at all times.

Knowledge & Understanding Requirements:

• Knowledge of equipment installation
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Five years industrial maintenance experience required including strong mechanical skills, electrical experience, pneumatic experience, PLC experience, and working with heavy machinery.
• Preventative maintenance experience in the industrial industry,
• Forklift and Overhead Crane experience
• Experience in the steel production and/or steel distribution industry strongly preferred
• Computer literacy
• Great attitude
• Excellent attendance
• Stable work history
• Must pass drug screening and background check in accordance with local law regulations
