Wonderful Opportunity! We are looking for an experienced full-time maintenance technician to lead and handle the day-to-day maintenance needs at a new lease-up property! The ideal candidate for this role would be handy, reliable, and have great customer service skills.

Responsibilities & Skills necessary to be GREAT at this job:

• Knowledge of maintenance across the board is necessary - drywall, paint, basic flooring, appliance hook up, basic electrical, plumbing etc. Being able to investigate, fix and handle multiple issues at once is key.
• This person should be able to turn over an apartment when the resident moves out and another moves in. A typical turn over may be patching holes, paint, installing appliances, fixing odds and ends.
• Ensure that all fire and building codes are adhered to.
• Keep accurate records of work completed.
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants and handle their needs as they arise.
• Proactively look at the buildings and tenant needs to make our properties a better place to be.
• Ensure the property is kept clean, free of debris and in quality working order.
• Can think on your feet and handle emergencies with confidence and curiosity as they arise
• Urgency, Ownership, Dependability and Patience are all qualities we need on our team

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday through Friday
• On call

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
• Must have your own hand tools to use daily
• Related work experience in maintenance field
• Mechanical ability, as well as general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
