Working Schedule:

  • Monday, Thursday - Sunday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Duties & Responsabilities:

  • Check in with On-site Engineer.
  • Main entrance lobby policing, support with placing mats and wet floor caution signs out in inclement weather.
  • Door glass at the entrance ways off the main lobby in the building. Keeping the glass clean and free from fingerprints, streaks, etc.
  • Responsible for the outside perimeter and at the entrances off the main lobby. Sweeping and making sure that there is no trash, debris, cigarette butts, cob webs, etc.
  • Police all restrooms, making sure they are properly stocked at all times with toilet tissue, hand towels and soap. (Plunge toilets as necessary).
  • Tenant interaction as required.
  • Empty trash cans.
  • Seasonal watering of lobby interior plants and policing of leaf debris.
  • Put supplies away when the consumable order comes in.
  • Light bulb replacement.
  • Other light maintenance duties including but not limited to door knob tightening, wall hanging work such as coat hooks, pictures and the like, etc.
  • All other requests, work orders and duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to communicate deficiencies discovered to Building Management such as issues with faucets, toilets, urinals.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years related expereince
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Effective problem-solving abilites
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, reach, push, pull & bend often.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

  • Chicago, IL 60654: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
