Residential Property Maintenance Technician
Status: Part Time: 15-30 hours per week.
Frostburg Student Housing, LLC is seeking a part time Maintenance Technician to oversee the overall maintenance needs of 44 apartment units in Frostburg, MD. The ideal candidate should have experience in general maintenance, be self-motivated, and have some knowledge of day- to-day property management.
Job Requirements:
- Resolve and Complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Pick up trash if seen on grounds.
- Over see the quality and cost of outside vendors.
- Respond to requests and provide exceptional customer service to our tenants.
- Report lease violations or damage caused by tenants beyond the scope of normal wear and tear.
- Must have your own basic tools.
- Must be able to use a smartphone, email, text, and complete electronic work orders.
- Must reside within 15 miles of the city of Frostburg.
Experience in the following areas is preferred:
Painting
Plumbing
Electrical
Minor Carpentry
Additional duties may include:
- Showing the units to potential tenants.
- Identifying preventative maintenance needs.
- Following up with tenants for rent collection.
Education Requirements: Highschool Graduate or GED equivalent
Pay Rate: $25 per hour.
