Job Description

The Maintenance Tech ensures safety while maintaining and repairing the extrusion equipment. Through a PM process the maintenance techs strive to keep equipment maintained and running to its optimal performance. They also troubleshoot day-to-day problems and break downs to get lines back up and running. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job, they consistently demonstrate, promote and display behaviors aligned to the BOL core values. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
• Perform PM and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot plant equipment problems and breakdowns
• Fabricate parts and equipment necessary to keep plant running efficiently
• Other duties or tasks as requested by leadership

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic understanding of electricity and electrical circuits
• 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance facility
• Ability to work individually as well as with a team
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Comfortable rolling up sleeves to get stuff done

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
