Job Summary: Perform necessary work to maintain production and office buildings including, but not limited to; running cleaning equipment, other related clean up and tasks related to safe work areas. Some help with repair and upkeep. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on indoor/outdoor lighting, interior/exterior doors and windows, office furniture, and other building and facilities equipment.
• Maintain facilities in excellent condition.
• Running the floor scrubber
• Cleaning carbon fiber debris from production area
• Cleaning cured resin from production area
• Helping out with facilities maintenance when needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Work with a contract cleaning service when vital.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Perform other functions as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Shown experience with accepted practices, processes, materials, and tools of the building maintenance trades.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building maintenance trades.
• Ability to maintain records regarding material, equipment, and repairs.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste handling.

Other Skills/Abilities or Special Requirements

• Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis, up to 120 lbs. on an occasional basis [team lift available].
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb or walk for up to 8 hours or more per day.
• Ability to work with both hands and both feet regularly
• Must demonstrate strong social skills and attention to detail
• License/training to operate fork lift truck.
• Will need own hand tools, special tools will be provided by Hexagon Lincoln.
• Computer software proficiency in MS Office.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
