Respond to guest needs and department requests. Maintain, repair and clean mechanical areas/equipment. Assist other trade personnel in their duties to ensure a safe, clean and well maintained Resort. Keep the grounds safe, clean, and in good repair.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Working in extreme heat and cold, indoors and out
• Be able to “own a Problem” and see it through to the end
• Lead the team when engineering manager is not available
• Maintain all equipment in good, safe working order by visual inspections, diagnose problems and make necessary repairs as needed. Must follow all proper preventive maintenance procedures.
• Instruct/direct staff in day to day operations and follow up to make sure they do the job in a safe and timely manner.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate work
• Be a clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgments

Associate is held accountable for all duties of this job.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge:

Limited knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, swimming pools, landscaping, HVAC, painting, and a general knowledge in building and maintenance is desirable

Skills: guest service

Ability to lead a team

Be able to take on large projects and see them through to the end

Work with sub-contractors, other departments, homeowners, and guests to get projects done
