The Maintenance Process Specialist is part of the Asset, Reliability, and Maintenance (ARM) governance team that oversees the processes, spending, and development of the department. This team is responsible for driving performance improvement and growth in the ARM organization. The primary area of focus for this team member will be on our maintenance and reliability processes, keeping our systems updated, and training others in the organization.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

As a Maintenance Process Specialist, you create chemistry by…


    Using continuous improvement tools to improve Asset, Reliability, and Maintenance (ARM) processes and create/lead trainings for ARM processes (planning/scheduling, criticality analysis, etc.).

    Developing and implementing a technical training plan for the asset, reliability, and maintenance (ARM) department that advances the technical capabilities of the organization.

    Supporting site reliability efforts by facilitating and training others on RCFAs.

    Leveraging your maintenance experience to improve our CMMS system usage by overseeing master data, standardizing functionalities, updating data, and training other users.

    Using your knowledge of asset management, reliability, and maintenance concepts and processes will allow you to maintain and analyze KPIs (backlog, manhours, etc.).

    Leading small cap maintenance projects.

If you have…

    An Engineering degree or 10+ years’ experience in a technical field

    Maintenance experience in the petrochemical industry preferred

    Experience using continuous improvement tools

    Knowledge of SAP, RCFA tools, maintenance workflow processes

    Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and work with people throughout the organization
