Maintenance Person (Full-Time) - Calistoga Job at Sightline Hospitality
Sightline Hospitality is in search of a
Maintenance person who is guest focused, detail-oriented and dedicated to taking great care of our space and facilities. This position is located in
Calistoga at the Up Valley Inn & Hot Springs. The salary range is $20 - $24 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- To understand and respond to all guests needs in timely and professional manner.
To satisfactorily perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the property, including assistance with: - Tending to Geothermal Pools (pool certification is helpful, but not required)
- Plumbing
- Air conditioning / HVAC
- Carpentry
- Patching and painting
- To conduct daily inspections of areas and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- To maintain all areas in safe and sanitary conditions. Communicate effectively with the housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure the best experience for guests.
- Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
- Handle, store and label all hazardous substances according to state and federal regulations.

Essential Physical Abilities:
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, bending and stooping.
- Ability to pull heavy loads weighing up to 75 lbs. and lift and/or carry or otherwise move equipment, boxes, and luggage.
- Periodically required to work at a very fast pace, under pressure.
