The Headlines :
In the role of Maintenance Mechanic working in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin you will be part of the Leinenkugel’s Brewery Team. You will perform brewery process equipment maintenance, plant wide building/grounds maintenance, housekeeping, shipping/receiving maintenance, assist with bottle house and Leinie Lodge maintenance as required.

This position reports to the Asset Care Engineer and works closely with other Maintenance Mechanics on the team.

This role pays $23.50/hour during the probationary period and would then increase to $24.46/hour after the probationary period has ended.

This opening is for 3rd shift
  • Sunday night to Monday morning (12am-8am)
  • Monday through Thursday (11pm-7am)

The Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electronics & automated systems
  • Good working ability and knowledge of metal fabrication
  • Welding of black iron and stainless steel
  • Soldering and braising
  • Boiler operation and water analysis
  • Operation and repair of refrigeration equipment
  • Repair of systems for air, water, product, steam, CO2, and wastewater
  • Pump and process equipment repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical 110/240/480 volt systems, hold qualified electrical worker status
  • Repair of grain handling systems
  • Loading and unloading of direct and indirect brewing materials
  • Assist in brew house process equipment operations as required
  • Operation of forklift, bobcat, pick-up w/plow

The Other Qualifications:
  • You have at least a high school diploma or GED.
  • You have at least 3-5 years experience in an industrial environment.
    • Physical requirements include frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and pulling. Must also be capable of lifting and carrying 75 lb. loads and utilizing hoists for positioning of heavier loads.
    • Must obtain / maintain forklift operator certification and be capable and/or qualified to use SCBA equipment.
