Maintenance Mechanic, $25 to 30/hour DOE ( Urgent Need!) Job at LaunchNW
We are looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position to be onsite at a Northeast Plant. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing all warehouse equipment while following the standards set forth in the company Mission Statement, the company Policies and Procedures Handbook, and the company Safety and Health guidelines. It is recession proof meaning you will never loose your hours! Must have Longevity in previews jobs to be considered!
Primary Duties:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure that machines and rolling stock run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or rolling stock equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them utilizing repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Inspect, clean, lubricate, repair, or replace mechanical components including but not limited to drives, motors, belts, fluids, filters, shafts, bearings, or gears.
- Perform tasks such as welding and metal fabrication.
- Document type of maintenance or repair work on company forms and/or computer software.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, overtime, and perform “on-call” responsibilities to accommodate production needs and occasionally work at other FWR locations.
- Willing to perform other duties as required.
