Pay Range: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year.

Oversee the daily activities for the Livingston Deli Maintenance department and all mechanical functions. Improve production through process improvements and reduction of mechanical downtime. Drive food/employee safety and structural integrity.

Operational planning and results:

• Optimize equipment operation time by utilizing employees to effectively carry out rapid equipment repairs and to effectively maintain equipment availability.
• Drive PM program through CMMS and associated reports
• Downtime reduction
• Optimization cost of repair/replacement
• Vendor source and effective budget management to minimize cost

SAFETY/ENVIROMENTAL AWARENESS:

• Develop and maintain safe working practices and an active accident prevention/investigation program
• Insure compliance with applicable safe departmental work practices
• Responsible for oversight of department training efforts and enforcement
• Environmental coordinator for Livingston Deli facilities
• Insure structural integrity

PERSONNEL:

• Establish and maintain good employee relations
• Develop and motivate employees
• Monitor and review employee performance taking corrective measures where necessary
• Organize employees to attend required and appropriate training courses
• Develop and maintain a cross training program

• Must have a BA Degree or equivalent experience: three to five (3-5) years maintenance supervisory experience, in a production environment.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills.
• Must possess strong electrical, refrigeration and mechanical skills.
• Project management and project development skills and experience.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
