Job Summary
Centerline Communications LLC is seeking an Journeyman Electrician for an immediate start. The Journeyman Electrician's task is to facilitate the installation, repair and maintenance of wireless and wireline telecommunications equipment, and will performs many different tasks.

This role is available to candidates in NJ/PA/DE/MD/VA/NY - Mid-Atlantic market
Responsibilities:
  • Installation of service equipment, wiring, and devices required to install electrical systems
  • Evaluate systems accurately for maintenance, warranty repairs, design, and other purposes
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, repair and resolve electrical issues
  • Bending and installing conduit, pulling & terminating wire, cable, equipment, panels, and various control components and devices
  • Adhere, enforce, and monitor in accordance with company standards of installation and quality
  • Follow a safety program and attend safety meetings
  • Complete QA inspections
  • Ability to communicate problems to varying managers
  • Provide detailed documentation regarding corrective actions and ensure completion of corrective items in a timely manner
  • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety
  • Ensure proper job documentation is completed at the completion of each job

Qualifications:
  • EL-01 or Journeyman Electrical License is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Background in electrical construction, industrial maintenance, electronics, or related military experience
  • Diagnostic and mechanical skills are required
  • Must be able to lift 100 lb. and able to work at heights up to 10 feet
  • Must have ability to perceive differences in wire and cable color
  • Basic mechanical abilities with hand tools and simple power tools
  • Ability to work independently from the electrician on tasks that require less skills or experience
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out written and verbal instructions
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee needs to have good vision for close work, distance, color discrimination, peripheral, and depth perception.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years experience working as an Electrician in either commercial or industrial jobs
  • Telecommunications experience is a plus


Travel

  • Extensive travel to other markets as needed (up to 75%+).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.


Position Type

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
