Who you are:
Someone with a passion for all things silly and scientific and a strong a desire to make learning FUN! You do NOT need to be a certified teacher, nor do you need to be a science major. You MUST enjoy/have experience working with groups of children and have a functioning car. You must be interested in a part-time position and available weekday afternoons (1pm-4pm). Perfect for students, actors, retired teachers, anyone looking for intro teaching experience and wanting to HAVE FUN!

Who we are:

For the last 20 years Mad Science has provided entertaining and spectacular educational science to children in preschool through 6th grade. WE ARE currently hiring instructors for Afterschool programs and Special Events in the Orange County area! We train you in the curriculum, and provide all materials.

Afterschool Programs are usually a 1- hour long class and take place between 1pm-4pm. The average instructor will work 3-5 hours a week (1hour/day), making $140-$250+ per week. (Depending upon availability and experience).

As an instructor you will be LIVESCAN fingerprinted and TB tested. Each day you work, you will drive to a local community center/school site/daycare center you have been assigned to. Travel is compensated. Our instructors are required to come to a weekly staff meeting every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 PM in Santa Ana.
