The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals.
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately sets up, starts up, and shuts down UV printers
  • Accurately sets up print programs
  • May use computer to load printer software
  • Load/unload printing equipment with product
  • Adjusts loader to ensure proper operation
  • Adjusts print head height to ensure proper operation
  • Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
  • Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
  • Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
  • Cleans conveyor belt with dried ink solution
  • Cleans print heads to ensure proper operation
  • Able to work effectively within small teams
  • Accurately complete scrap tickets
  • Accurately complete daily production sheet
  • Accurately update OEE information using MOP station
  • Maintain production pace and standards
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Basic computer skills
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of machine operation experience preferred
