MACHINE OPERATOR ASSISTANT (1ST SHIFT) Job at Olympic Steel
The Machine Operator Assistant position is responsible for all job tasks required to successfully perform the cut to length, slitting or stamping process. These activities include, but are not limited to: assisting the operator plan, setup and operate equipment, ensure the machine has materials needed with various types/gauges of steel, according to customer specifications.

- High School or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience with overhead cranes and/or forklifts required.
- Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
- General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
- Fine motor and gross motor coordination.
