Machine Operator

Shift:
Mon-Fri 3:30pm-2:00am
Overtime will be needed
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Job Duties:
- Assisting folder operator
- Building crates
- Sorting Materials
- Other general duties assigned by your supervisor.
Responsibilites:
- Following instructions from folder operators and managers/supervisors
- Safely operating a variety of power tools including electric and pneumatic
- Banding and clearing all lines
- Use scan gun and realize the correct transactions in our ERP system
- Following all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment
- Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to read, hear, talk, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and/or walk approximately 7 frac12; hours minimum per work shift
- Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
- Noise level is moderate to low.
