We are currently seeking a motivated Yard Worker to fill a full-time position in our Wareham, MA location.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading of company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices, which requires lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber, and building materials.
• Prepare customer orders by collecting and retrieving merchandise/materials from storage areas in the yard.
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and stock merchandise as necessary.
• Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures.
• Report customer complaints to Yard Foreman/Supervisor.
• Ensure that inventory is consistently up to date and notify supervisor of shortages and restocking needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic reading skills
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Prior lumber yard experience is a plus
• Prior building materials experience is a plus

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 7 AM to 8 PM and Saturday 7 AM to 12PM
