Join our team! Wisconsin Institute of Functional Medicine is currently searching for a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable individual to fill the following 5-day work week, approximately 40-hour week position:

LPN or CMA

In this role, the candidate will possess the following duties and performance requirements:

You will be helping our patients live well by:

● Preparing and rooming the patients and documenting pertinent information, including brief patient history, medications, supplement use, and reason for the visit.

● Obtain patient vital signs and other specific screenings as applicable, such as InBody scan.

● Phlebotomy: Performing laboratory and diagnostic testing per provider order.

● Under the delegation and supervision of the physician, administer peripheral IV insertion and vitamin and mineral infusions.

● Assist physician with office procedures, including aiding the physician with injections, pellet procedures, PRP treatment, and Stem Cell therapy.

● Communicate with the provider regarding patient inquiries and questions.

● Fax/call in prescription refills as directed by the physician and clinic protocol.

● Performing a variety of office responsibilities: answering phones and taking messages and performing triage within the scope of licensed practical nursing practice in an accurate and timely manner.

● Coordinate with specialty and other offices as directed by the provider.

● Complete referral forms and assist patients with the referral process.

● Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) to include: documentation, referrals, scheduling, order entry, prescription requests, etc.

● Participating in the orientation and training of new personnel.

Education/Experience/Certifications:

Graduate of an accredited school.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
