PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Complete intake paperwork and prevention assessments using Clarity HMIS
Make referrals to the LPAC using Clarity HMIS
Assist household in the collection of eligibility documentation including paystubs, eviction notices, self-attestation affidavits, etc.
Communicate and collect required documentation from landlords and property managers (e.g. W9s, rental agreements, etc.).
Assist All Doors Lead Home Coordinated Entry staff with consumer and other involved parties correspondence

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Economic assistance program knowledge
Case management techniques, interventions, and approaches
Crisis intervention skills, including de-escalation, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent listening skills
Strong data entry skills
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
Ability to treat all clients and colleagues with dignity and respect
Basic computer skills knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities and be comfortable working with an at-risk population

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree preferred in Behavioral Sciences; relevant experience may be substituted. Minimum of 1-year experience working with households in economic or housing crisis or other basic and emergency needs related case management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Characterized as medium work requiring exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
