Brothers Fire & Security, located in Elk River, Minnesota, is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and support services to our valued customers across the state of Minnesota. We are looking for someone who can successfully complete the project at hand, while also providing outstanding customer service. Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze, install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems that monitor fire and security alarm systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarms, access controls, cameras, paging, etc.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues while out in the field
- Travel to customer sites as needed in a company van – 99 percent of the work is in MN. We do travel to ND, SD, and WI.

- Dependable and self-motivated - can work in the field independently and as a team of two or more
- Great customer service skills – must be able to communicate with clients, answer their questions, and explain the projects at hand to ensure understanding from all parties
- Willing to learn and ask questions – no day is the same
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- 2+ years of low voltage technician experience preferred
- Ground fault troubleshooting experience preferred
- PLT License preferred
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions and no history of major violations
- Must join either the IBEW Local Union 110 or 292 upon hire
Compensation:
