Petal Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing, highly motivated Love at First Sight team member with exceptional people skills to join our Love at First Sight team. This is a part-time position averaging 29 hours per week. Please see schedule requirements under What Skills Do I Need section.
WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT TEAM MEMBER?
As a Love at First Sight team member you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:
- Answer multiple telephone lines with proper Petal Animal Clinic greeting, in a cheerful tone; answer inquiries on telephone about puppies in the center
- Directing phone calls to proper team members and ensuring messages taken are followed through
- Accurate filing of Love at First Sight patient records
- Learn and utilize Cornerstone veterinary software for invoicing
- Work closely and respectfully with other team members in the veterinary practice to ensure a positive client experience
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in Love at First Sight - This position is primarily the cleaning position with some shifts in sales
- Educate pet owners about Petal Animal Clinic services and products according to the standards of Petal Animal Clinic.

At Petal Animal Clinic, we strive to exceed our client's expectations by providing excellent service. Skills you would need for this position are:
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Love people as much as you love pets
- Available to rotate shifts on weekends and holidays
- Applicants should be available for the following time frame for shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. cleaning Monday - Friday; 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturdays; 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sundays. This is a part-time position averaging 29 hours per week. Once a week there will be a 12 hour shift from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Access to internet to receive schedule and communication emails from Petal Animal Clinic
- Able to move from sit to stand frequently. Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

- Hourly pay is commensurate with experience
- The work schedule can be demanding: opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Dependability and being flexible is essential

- Upon conditional offer of employment, you successfully complete a drug screen and background check
