The following challenges await you:
- Coordinate, expedite, and implement processes to enhance and enable the flow of materials between departments and throughout the site.
- Direct the movement, storage, and processing of inventory. Manage obsolete inventory. Implement best practices surrounding the management of inventory.
- Supervise the activities of shipping and warehouse technicians.
- Oversee the receiving of incoming goods and services.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws including the selection, training, and development, assigning work, and performance management of employees.
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and implement a robust training program for shipping & warehouse personnel.
Your Profile:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field.
- At least ten years' of experience of shipping and/or warehouse management experience supporting a manufacturing environment is required.
- Must have the ability to schedule and prioritize effectively.
- Self-starter with proactive time management approach and attention to detail.
- Organizational skills, teamwork skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to drive a forklift.
