**Job Summary
The Logistics Supervisor oversees the activities of a team of warehouse employees and manages Emmi Roth’s vendor relationships with our third-party logistics partners. This position ensures accurate inventory control and on-time, accurate product delivery and distribution. This position supports the overall company strategy by creating metrics and processes to deploy an optimized logistics network and warehousing operations.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads distribution activities of the warehouse team.
  • Monitors performance of partner organizations.
  • Defines performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain processes
  • Meets with vendors to discuss performance metrics and provide performance feedback
  • Tracks order completion
  • Ensures orders are being picked completely and accurately
  • Inspects shipments to ensure customer specified shipment protocols are being followed
  • Assists inventory control with cycle counts and product reconciliation
  • Implements new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
  • Develops procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
  • Monitors forecasts and quotas to identify changes and predict effects on supply chain activities.
  • Analyzes data to inform operational decisions or activities.

**Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations/management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role managing high volume operations
  • Prior experience in a food or beverage operation preferred
  • Strong understanding of warehouse optimization, labor law, OSHA regulations, and transportation regulations
  • ISO certified operations, Six Sigma Training, or DMAIC training preferred but not required
  • Experience with Warehouse Management and ERP systems (JDE preferred)
  • Intermediate computer skills including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented nature
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Some travel may be required
