YOUR ROLE & Responsibilities
Summary of Job Purpose and Function:
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. This position coordinates and processes the traffic flow of goods to and from our Turkish Headquarters to our US based clients. This postion is remote for the foreseeable with potential for working in our Manhattan office.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Promotes our core values: safety first, leadership and accountability, employee involvement and ownership, commitment to excellence, integrity and responsibility, and value creation for partners.
- Receive and enter POs from customers to our Production team
- Tracking all orders and report any changes to clients and team members
- Responsible for rating LTL, truckload and tank truck orders
- Approve carrier invoices
- Arrange truckload and LTL carriers for inbound, outbound and 3rd party shipments
- Package and create shipping documents for sample requests
- Verify COA’s on inbound deliveries
- Maintain warehouse inventory levels and coordinate shipment of orders
- Responsible for Container inventory management
- Potential travel to US trade shows and booth work
