POSITION: Locker Room / Lunch Room Aide (contracted through EduStaff)
LOCATION: Brandon Middle School
DESCRIPTION OF THE DISTRICT:
The Brandon School District is a mid-size school district nestled in Northwest Oakland County. The district has approximately 1,000 students in junior kindergarten-5th grade between the two elementary schools, approximately 600 at the middle school level and approximately 850 at the high school. This small, tight knit community has a strong connection to its schools and is passionate about the education of its youth. Brandon High School sends 85-90% of its graduates to post-secondary school each year, it was ranked in the 82ndpercentile of all schools in the State on the top-to-bottom rankings and it was awarded as a Silver Medal Winner by the US News. Our elementary schools are both one-to-one technology are each near the 83rd percentile in State rankings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Work with students on maintaining building rules and procedures in a positive manner.
· Supervision of girls’ locker room.
· Maintain good, consistent discipline within assigned area.
· Performs other such duties as assigned by the Building Principal or designee.
· Assist with and help supervise class activities, in and out of the assigned classroom.
· Assist staff in monitoring hallways and cafeteria
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
WORKDAY/WEEK: Per Building Schedule (M-F)
STARTING DATE: ASAP
COMPENSATION: $12.00 per hour, contracted through EduStaff
Job Type: Part-time
