Job Title: Bulk Loader
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule: 1st shift
Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
Position Summary:
You will comply with government regulations (EPA, FRA and OSHA) and company recognized standards while safely performing the transfers of hazardous and non-hazardous products of railroad and trucking tank cars.
What you'll do:
- Safely transfer bulk product to/from Railroad tank cars to/from tanker trucks
- Operate various types of mechanical equipment
- Climbing using various types of ladders, to heights in excess of 16 feet

Areas of Responsibility:
- Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
- Climbing to heights of between 15 to 20 feet to perform inspections on top
- Operate various types of mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to change oil, starters, batteries, and clutches
- Prepare products for transferring, such as heating, sparging, and sampling
- Perform housekeeping duties as required by Management
What's Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or Ability
- Safety first mentality
- Mechanical ability a plus
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Able to meet attendance requirements
- A team work, can do attitude and willing to learn
- Valid state driver's license
