We are looking for a Line Cook at our swanky new restaurant. A Line Cook is responsible for cooking food, assembling dishes and setting tables in addition to other kitchen duties and must be hard working, courteous and able to handle stressful conditions at a high-volume restaurant. Candidates must be available for occasional long hours and should be able to multitask efficiently, follow directions well and work closely with others.
Responsibilities:
- Cook meals according to the daily specials.
- Prepare food and drink items according to customer orders.
- Ensure that food and drink items are served in a timely manner.
- Be able to explain dishes to the wait staff and customers.
- Communicate with the kitchen staff and expediter about special requests from customers.
- Regularly monitor dishware to ensure that it is clean and properly stored.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
